<p>The precision seed drill places the seeds in the soil at a predetermined depth and spacing. A pair of wheels leave a space between their rims to allow passage of the seeds and of a disc thrusting the latter into the soil. The disc can be adjustable for depth, and driven, and the seed distributor can be incorporated in the wheels. The rims are concave or flat to carry the seeds to the soil at regular intervals.</p> |
