A pigment mixture comprising one or more pigments and finely-divided aluminium powder, and additionally containing ferrosilicon and/or ferromanganese. The pigment mixtures are intended for use in production coating compositions, particularly primers, and such use prevents or reduces the tendency towards pinhole formation when welding metal substrates coated with the compositions. The coating compositions also exhibit good anti- corrosive properties. |
