INSTALLATION OF TRACKING LONG CODE FOR ANALYZING CELL LOADING AND METHOD THEREOF

A long code tracking device for cell loading analysis and a method therefor are provided to measure the quantity of loads for overall FAs(Frequency Assignments) used in connection with a base station and each repeater, thus analysis for the quantity of loads of each base station and repeater is available. A sync channel is extracted from a forward signal, and a sync channel message is demodulated from the sync channel(S401,S403). Reverse traffic channel data is recognized from the sync channel message(S405). Long code states for each slot with regards to the reverse traffic channel data are extracted(S407). PN(Pseudo Noise) code states for timing adjustment in accordance with time intervals among the long code states of the previously defined slots are operated(S409). Based on the PN code states, long code masks and long code states of the reverse traffic channels are calculated(S411,S413).
