The chain-drawn plane, is guided on a rail on a conveyor, and the double length chain runs in channels one above the other, extending through the rail or its attachments. One length is vertically deflected in the area of the machine frame and/or connecting gutter, in a mineral-extracting assembly in a mine. The deflected section (11,12) of the draw chain (n) is supported on a roller guideway (16,17) in the deflection area. This may replace the walling of the chain channel (8,9). It can be made up from a series of rollers (19) lying one behind the other along the line of the chain.
