Roller shutter case slot sealing strip - is adjustable elastomer unit with thin lip edge towards blind

A strip of material fitting against the shutter surface, and held in a fixed position, features in provision for sealing off the slit in a roller shutter case through which the shutter passes. The strip (8) is adjustable in the direction towards the shutter (4). It is made of elastomer, such as rubber, with the edge facing the shutter in the form of a thin-walled lip (9). On the fixing piece facing away from this it can be reinforced, with a metal rail vulcanised into it. It can be gripped by a detachable clamping retainer (11). This provides durable sealing, and causing min. friction, leaving no trace.
