PURPOSE:To make a reproduction pitch coincide with that of an original signal by using a rotary head when the speed of a recording medium in reproduction differs from that in recording. CONSTITUTION:A signal recorded on tape 1 is reproduced by reproducing head 2 and then recorded on tape 3 by recording head 4 via recording circuit 5. Firstly, the speed of tape 1 is set a half that in recording. The speed of tape 3 is equalized to that of rotary body head 7 and the rotary body reproducing head is rotated on its axis in one direction so that the relative speed is twice that between recording head 4 and tape 3. Rotary-body reproducing head 7 consists of two reproducing heads 6, which repeat reproduction by turns in response to every extremely small signal. The pitch of the reproduced signal is equal to that of the original signal and applied to speaker 20 via amplifier 18. |
