PURPOSE:To automatically scrape residue on the surface of a hot galvanizing bath by projecting a hanger in the radial direction of the main axle in the form of nearly L-shape in such a way as to avoid its interference with a scraping blade provided to a truck moving toward the tangential direction of the main axle. CONSTITUTION:A platform 28 into which a large number of tube couplers are inserted is hanged on the hanger 42 of a rotator 12 from an inserter 10 and then placed above a hot galvanizing bath 14 by the rotation of the main axle 40. Then, an arm 46 is lowered and a two-forked part 52 dips the tube couplers to be plated together with the platform 28 into the bath 14. Afterwards, the platform 28 is vertically moved several times, drawn out of the bath 14 by means of the arm 46, and then moved toward a feeder 16, where the slime on the surface of the bath 14 is scraped out by moving a truck 64 before the platform 28 is drawn out of the bath 14. That is, a swing arm 72 is lowered, the lower end of the scraping blade is slightly dipped in the surface portion of the bath 14, and the truck 64 is move to move the slime onto a guide plate 88 without causing any interference with the scraping balde because of the L-shaped two-forked part 52. |
