FIELD: data transmission, in particular, methods for dispatching GSM SMS-messages through CDMA radio interface. ^ SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the method, at each one of several corresponding levels, indication is provided, which allows terminals to determine, whether a GSM CBS-message (cell SMS broadcasting) or broadcasting CDMA SMS-message was dispatched. These indications include (1) value in assigned field or sub-field of Data packet message; (2) new value of Category field in the parameter Category of service of SMS-broadcasting message, and (3) new value for Message encoding field in User data sub-parameter of SMS-transmission message. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency. ^ 6 cl, 10 dwg |
