<p>Avoiding the costly and dangerous use of laser light beams for producing light effects in dance halls, the present equipment uses two masks, with a vertical and horizontal slit respectively, moving at right angles to each other. A conventional light beam is employed. A light beam for a conventional source and passing through a condenser lens system, is directed on to two slits (13,14) at right angles to one another on two separate masks (3,4) which move in the direction of the slits. The cross-over point is projected on to a screen, forming a continuous line pattern due to the fast moving masks which are operated electro-magnetically by programmed oscillations recorded on tape.</p> |
