<p>The method of assembly does not require screws or similar clamps for covering the ends of an assembly of switches (14) on a support rail. At each end of the assembly a plastic cover plate (16) is fitted. The plate covers the exposed side of the switch and the end of the terminal row, already covered along its length by a protective shield (28,30). The cover plate fits by snap action. The locating points are the terminal covers (30,26) and the mounting rail (A,B). On the mounting rail one lip fits into a recess (B) in the plate. The other lip snaps into a spring latch (15,A) formed in the plate. The arrangement allows quick assembly without special tools and without screws or other loose items.</p> |
