摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor capable for reducing stress concentration on the rotor rotating at high speed, and a rotary electric machine. SOLUTION: The rotor includes a rotary shaft and a rotor core. The inner peripheral surface of the through-hole of the rotor core includes recessed inner peripheral surfaces 40, 140 which is located on both sides of a key part 42 and constitute a recessed part recessed in a direction away from the outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft. The cross section being right-angled to the center axis of the rotary shaft on the recessed part inner peripheral surface has a first circular arc part C1 having a first radius of curvature and its tangential direction continued to the side surface of the key part and has a second circular arc part C2 having a second radius of curvature and continuing to the tangential direction of the first circular arc part. The second radius of curvature is larger than the first radius of curvature and the line L2 connecting the center of the second radius of curvature to the center axis of the rotary shaft is located at a position further away from the side surface of the key part than the line L1 connecting the center of the first radius of curvature to the center axis of the rotary shaft.
