摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To detect a small quantity of electric current stably without cutting down a measured electric wire by inserting magneto-optical materials into the spacer of an iron coil and by drilling the hole of conducting light in near proximity. CONSTITUTION:The lower part of the circular iron coil where the measured electric wire 24 is passed through is so cut out as the surfaces of the cutting become parallel. The Faradey rotational glass 46 is fixed into this space 44. The drilled holes 48, 50 are dug out horizontally from the surfaces of the cutting of the circular iron coil 40. By arranging Laser equipment 56, Laser is passed through the polarizer 54 to emit straight polarized light. This light passes through an optical fiber 52 and reaches the Faradey rotational glass 46. The polarized surface of laser is rotated by the predetermined angle in accordance with the strength of magnetic field H, that is, the amount of electric current passed through the measured electric wire 42. Rotary polarized baser beam is supplied to the measuring equipment 66 via a polarizer 60, light receiving diode 62, light receiving circuit 64. By this, the distance to the electric wire is always constant. So, the measurement is easy and the accuracy of measurement can be improved.</p>
