PURPOSE:To enable a tone arm to rotate-place to a play start position by itsefl, by rotate-placing the tone arm to the upper position of the lead-in groove of a record disk only when a motor slide plate is moved to a play position and in other casee by rotate-placing the rear of the motor slide plate. CONSTITUTION:When main switch S0 is pushed with record disk 8 mounted, motor slide 5 plate slides toward the inner part and during the slide, the external edge part of turntable 6 rotates setting lever 19 clockwise. Then, slide lever 23 linked with hook pin 22 is moved forth and channel-shaped click plate 26 of slide lever 23 moves by coupling with tone arm rotating pin 25 to rotate tone arm 9 to the upper position of the lead-in groove of record disk 8. When slide lever 23 moves to the play position, limit switch S3 is operated to stop DC motor 15 through the switching of a movable contact and phonomotor 13 starts rotating and is lowered tone arm 9 to place on record disk 8, thereby starting the play. |
