PURPOSE:To manufacture the titled head having small irregularity in the resistance value thereof with a simple and inexpensive manufacturing process by a method wherein metallic plating and selective etching are applied to a resistance wire wound around an insulating base upon the manufacturing of the heat sensitive head. CONSTITUTION:The resistance wire 102a such as Ni-Cr wire or the like is wound with a constant pitch around the insulating base 101 such as a glass plate or the like which is worked to a V-shape substantially at the tip end thereof, thereafter, the resistance wire 102a at the tip end 101a is made extremely thin by chemical etching to increase the resistance value thereof. Subsequently, a metal such as copper or the like having a good electric conductivity is plated on the resistance wire 102a, further, an adhesive is coated on the part of the insulating base 101 excluding a heating section 103 and external connecting conductor sections 102c to fix the resistance wire 102a to the base 101. Next, plating layers 102b coated on the resistance wire at the tip end of the base are removed to form the heating section 103 and the resistance wires 102a at the aft end section 101b of the base 101 are removed. An antiabrasion layer 104 and packages 106 are formed in the last process. |
