PURPOSE:To improve the grinding accuracy of a work, by providing concentric external and internal shafts with external and internal grinding wheels, respectively for constant-pressure grinding with the internal grinding wheel after grinding with the external one. CONSTITUTION:An external shaft 14 is turned by a driving pulley 45, which in turn drives an internal shaft 16, concentric to the former, through a guide 39 and external and internal grinding wheels 17, 15 attached to the shafts. As a feeder 10 is turned, a work 7 is fed in between the external grinding wheels 15, 15 for quantitative feed grinding. The work 7 is then fed in between the internal grinding wheels 17, 17. Since, at this moment, the internal grinding wheels 17, 17 are under the constant pressure of the work 7 due to the advancement of a piston 62 caused by working liquid 80 from a cylinder 53, the work 7 undergoes finish grinding under constant grinding pressure. |
