Brush making machine assembly - has separate servo-element and its control, with position actual and rated measuring stations for control loop resetting

The machine comprises a workpiece holder, carrying out a positioning movement for the processed brush bodies. An adjusting mechanism for the positioning movement is fitted with a servo- element, cooperating with a control containing an electronic control loop. The servo-element and its control are separately fitted on the brush making machine in such manner that the control is mounted on the machine frame, while the positioning actual value measuring points for the feedback of the control loop are fitted within the mechanical transmission path between the servo-element and the brush body. Pref. the servo-elements are formed by hydraulic cylinders. At least one positioner actual value measuring point is fitted nearer to the brush body or workpiece holder than the servo- element within the mechanical force transmission path.
