<p>The telephoto lens on a compact cine camera has focussing optics with a separate telescope (8) mounted beside the main optics (1) and adjusted to the same field centre of view as the main optics. It enables a hand held camera to be rapidly focussed and used. The separate telescope is mounted on clamp rings (2) fitted around the main optics and linked to the rings by adjustable struts (6). The eyepiece of the telescope is set in the same plane as that for the telephoto lens, and can be spaced so that the user can see with either eye, and can look through either simply by concentrating on either eye.</p> |
