A TV camera mounted onto a remotely controlled transport unit for observing large areas and displaying the picture on a TV monitor screen. The equip. is partic. suitable for zoo and game parks so that animals in pens may be observed and occasions such as births monitored. The design uses only one camera on a rotatable hinged arm. The camera is supported on 'T' form arms under a carriage with roller units running on a doubled back 'U' form rail arrangement. A cord drive powered by an electric motor is used to drive the camera around the 'U' track so that it views approx. 270 deg. Further side arm and supports enable a further 90 deg. of control to be added to the 270 deg.
