DEVICE FOR OSTEOSYNTHESIS OF BI- OR TRIFRAGMENTAL FRACTURES AT LEVEL OF SURGICAL NECK OF PROXIMAL DIVISION OF HUMERUS

A device for osteosynthesis of bi- or trifragmental fractures at the level of the surgical neck of the proximal division of humerus consists of the intramedullar rod with two distal openings and two spongious screws. To the proximal part of the intramedullar rod, the compressing plate is attached with its upper part fixed by the screw in proximal division. The lower part of the plate is attached to the rod with the aid of compressing screw. To provide stability, three symmetrical openings are made on the plate: two openings are intended for fixation of the spongious screws and the third is used for compression of the plate.
