PURPOSE:To simplify a device constitution and to reduce memory capacity, by shrinking the pattern information without restoration. CONSTITUTION:B means black and W means white, and if the two video elements connected longitudinally are black for the upper and white for the lower part, they are represented by B/W, and when the same B/W are connected laterally by two, then they are expressed as B/W2. The shrinked conversion is represented with the before conversion and after conversion as shown in Figure. Thus, B/B4 is converted into B2 and W/B2 is converted to B1. When B/W1, the information after conversion is determined with the next video elements, and in case of the example shown in Figure, the conversion into B1 is made because the next is B/B. |
