PURPOSE:To discharge the tracer continuously with stability and high density by a method wherein the tracer having specific gravity slightly smaller than that of a discharging liquid is mixed with the liquid and discharged from the central part of a whirlpool where the distribution density is high in a tracer discharging device for the visualization of the flow of the liquid. CONSTITUTION:To a cylindrical tracer mixing container 1, two nozzles 2 are connected in tangential direction in such a way that a whirlpool is readily produced, and used to jet into the container a liquid of which the flow amount is determined by a valve 15. A tracer discharging tube 10 used to maintain airtightness, which is movable vertically, is connected, with an O ring 12, to the central part of the container where the whirlpool is produced. When tracer with specific density slightly smaller than that of the liquid is discharged from a tracer containing part 5 into the liquid, the tracer having smaller specific density is concentrated to the central part of the whirlpool and distributed in the part with high density. A mixture of the tracer and liquid is then discharged from the discharge tube 10 continuously with stability and high density, thus making possible the visualization of the liquid flow. |
