PURPOSE:To improve reproducibility of optical path changing by rotating and moving a spherical mirror or a cylindrical mirror surface and putting the same into and out from the optical path. CONSTITUTION:This switch is so constituted that a spherical mirror 12 is rotated and moved around a rotating shaft 18 and is thereby put into and out from the optical path. Figure (a) shows the switch which is not in by-passing, wherein the optical paths are formed by 1 2, 3 4, and figure (b) shows the switch which is in by-passing wherein the optical path is formed by 1 4. The use of a cylindrical surface mirror in place of the spherical mirror 12 is equally well, and if these kinds of mirros are used, the imaging relations between input and output terminals 1 and 2 as well as 3 and 4 are maintained despite deviation in the fixing position of the mirror; therefore, the position accuracy for the rotation movement of the mirror is made lower, and this improves the reproducibility of optical path changing. |
