PURPOSE:To prevent the destruction of data written on the disc, by enabling to operate the release switch for disk take-out with a prescribed time after the operation of latch switch. CONSTITUTION:When the cover 5 of a floppy disc FDD device 1 is opened, the latch switch is on, and an open is given to an interruption signal generating circuit 15. Then, the CPU 10 receiving the interruption signal from the generating circuit 15 executes the judgement if FDD 1 is in write-in operation or not. Further, in case of write-in operation, the content of the present address storage area EOD stored in the memory 12 is written in the data set area of FDD. Since this operation is made within a prescribed time, when the release switch 2 is operated after the end of operation, FDD is taken out. Thus, the destruction of written-in data can be avoided. |
