CONSTITUTION:The photosignal catching the character information on the document is converted into electric character pattern, noise is rejected and normalized and inputted to the 1st comparator 5. It is compared with the character pattern standardized from the known character pattern memory 4, and if in disagreement, the result is rejected. On the other hand, if in agreement, it is fed to the decoder 6. If the standardized character pattern is not the specific pattern, it is output to the correct answer pickup 8 as it is. In case of specific pattern, the corresponding code is output to the similar character pattern storage section 7, the similar character pattern is fed to the 2nd comparator 9 and it is compared with the character pattern from the normalized section 3, and after additionally confirming the solution of the comparator 5, the character pattern standardized is fed to the correct answer pickup section 8. |
