PURPOSE:To prevent the influence of the change in the number of revolutions of the driving system of a pressure fixing device owing to the increase in the torque at the starting of pressure fixing and prevent the developing contamination of recording paper by driving a developing device of a magnetic toner system from said driving system by way of a buffer means. CONSTITUTION:A pressure fixing roller 12 is directly driven by a motor. A feed roller 8 and a discharge roller 13 are coupled to the puley 34 of the fixing roller by means of a chain or belt 45 via pulleys 35, 37. The pulley 46 of a developing device 9 is connected from the pulley 47 by an exclusive belt 48. The belt 48 is constituted of round belts or flat belts made of rubber. The impact of the belt 45 is absorbed by the elasticity of the belt 48 itself or the slip phenomenon between the belt 48 and the pulley, so that the revolution of the developing device is made smooth. In the case of directly driving the pulley 46 by the belt 45, the shaft 15 and the pulley 46 are connected and buffered by means of a torsional coil spring or the like. |
