This vehicle subframe (15) includes, at the bottom (42) of a main body section (32), a lateral expansion section (65), a left vertical expansion section (66), a right vertical expansion section (67), and a concavity (68). The lateral expansion section (65) joins a left front joining section (81) and a right front joining section (87), and expands below the concavity (68). Of the left vertical expansion section (66), the front end (66b) is joined to the left end (65a) of the lateral expansion section (65), and the left vertical expansion section (66) is inclined with a downward slope from the rear (32d) side of the main body section (32) towards the front end (66b). The right vertical expansion section (67) is formed in a left-right symmetrical manner with respect to the left vertical expansion section (66), and the front end is joined to the right end (65b) of the lateral expansion section (65). The concavity (68) is encircled by the left and right vertical expansion sections (66, 67) and the lateral expansion section (65), and is formed in a concave shape facing upwards. |
