PURPOSE:To raise the coolant compressing efficiency of a compressor, by manufacturing rotor units separately from each other, said rotor units being obtained by dividing a rotor in a direction perpendicular to the axial center line of a rotor, and then assembling them together by way of press fitting. CONSTITUTION:Rotor units 5 divided in a direction perpendicular to the axial center line of a rotor are manufactured separately from each other and then assembled together by way of press fitting. Since, with such an arrangement, hollow spaces 9 can be formed inside the rotor by removing superfluous material between adjacent vane grooves 8, it is enabled to reduce the weight of a compressor rotor and to raise the coolant compressing efficiency of the compressor. |
