<p>The cigar-cutter comprises a support with a bore (5) accommodating the cigar and a blade (1) pivoting on a spindle (4) in a plane at right angles to the bore. The cutting edge (7) of the blade is concave, its profile being that of a logarithmic sprial whose centre is the axis of rotation of the blade. The design avoids crushing the cigar at the point of impact of the blade.</p> |
