<p>The stand comprises a horizontal rectangular frame (1) with a foot (5, 10) at each corner. It has two posts (33) which extend from each longer on to support the bicycle sub-frame(39). An individual may, thus ride the cycle with the drive wheel(15) supported above the floor. The posts may terminate in screw clamps (37) permitting height adjustment. The frame may fold up for transit or storage, may be of a rigid welded construction, or may comprise members with bolted connections. In addn. the stand may include a friction roller (14) which applies an adjustable braking force to the bicycle drive wheel.</p> |
