PURPOSE:To prevent a cash storage box from being left open forgetfully and to confirm a change in transaction unit price from the titled of a music composition by making a desired melody when the cash storage box is left open at the end of each cash transaction, and by automatically changing melodies on the basis of time information. CONSTITUTION:Clocking circuit 7 generates time information. Melody generator 16, on the other hand, makes a desired melody when the cash storage box is left open at the end of each cash transaction. Then, the responsible person of the shop places the mode switch at a set mode position to change unit prices, preset unit-price change times of respective commodities, and inputs the unit-price change times from numeric information input circuit 4 to CPU3 via key encoder 5. Then, CPU3 receiving the indication stores the time information in memory M of coincidence detecting circuit 8 and detects the coincidence between the time information and the time information from clocking circuit 7. Once the coincidence is detected 8, generator 16 makes a prescribed melody. Consequently, the cash storage box is prevented from being left open forgetfully and a change in transaction unit price is confirmed from the melody. |
