PURPOSE:To form a pressure sensitive recording sheet by one process by a method wherein free falling curtains are made up by different kinds of applying liquids consisting of microcapsules and a developer, and continuously applied on a travelling supporter. CONSTITUTION:An applying liquid 3, a principal ingredient thereof is a developer previously prepared, is transmitted to a head 7 from a tank 1, and an applying liquid 4, a principal ingredient thereof is microcapsules, is also forwarded to the head 7 similarly. The applying liquids 3, 4 supplied from the liquid supplying head 7 are each filled into pockets 8, 9, and dynamic pressure in case of liquid supply is removed. Since the height of liquid surfaces in the pockets 8, 9 is kept constant at all times, the applying liquids flowing out from slits 14-18 by gravity flow out uniformly in the width direction, and free falling curtains 19-23 are made up. Thus, mixing at a boundary section of different kinds of applying liquids can be prevented substantially, and the liquids can be measured and applied. Consequently, the treatment of the waste fluid of the applying liquids also falls into disuse. |
