PURPOSE:To perform reckoning without confusion even if unit prices of commodities fluctuate, by modifying previously registered data by inputting codes of returned commodities and unit-price data. CONSTITUTION:When a customer is to return a commodity which the customer bought, the mode setting switch of keyboard 2 is placed at the return mode position and the return key is operated. The operator inputs the code of the returned commodity from numeral keyboard 2. Next, when the operator inputs unit-price data of the returned commodity from keyboard 2, CPU1 stores the unit-price data in the unit-price data area in RAM4. Then, the unit-price data stored in the unit-price data area is subtracted out of the contents of the total amount memory area that corresponds to the code of the returned commodity in RAM4. Next, CPU1 displays the code and unit-price data of the returned commodity stored in the prescribed area in RAM4 on display part 5 and also prints them by printer 6. |
