摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector that allows for minimizing deterioration of image quality and reducing the size thereof even if sloped portions are positioned above an effective pixel region, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A radiation detector includes; an array substrate comprising a substrate and a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements disposed on one surface of the substrate; a scintillator layer provided on top of the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements and containing a first phosphor material; a wall body that is provided on the one surface of the substrate to surround the scintillator layer; and a filler section provided between the scintillator layer and the wall body and containing a second phosphor material. The scintillator layer has sloped sections along peripheral edges thereof, each sloped section having thickness that gradually decreases with increasing distance toward an edge of the scintillator layer.
