The process includes dyeing a reservoir fabric or film made of polyester or nylon with a volatile disperse dye and bringing the reservoir fabric or film in contact with the blend fabric at a sufficiently high temperature to selective ly transfer a minor portion of the dye to the manmade fiber in the blend fabric. The process is particularly useful when applied to dark fabrics containing small amounts of fibers which are present as inadvertent impurities in reclaimed wool or wool/cotton fabrics, however applied to blends containing a large proportion of the synthetic fibers.
