Disclosed is a structure for installing an emergency communication apparatus (PLB) cabinet of a submarine and an installation method thereof. According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is the structure for installing the emergency communication apparatus cabinet of the submarine, including: a coaming member which is installed in a pressure resistant partition wall of the submarine, and has an internal hollow; and the PLB cabinet which is installed to penetrate the internal hollow of the coaming member, and accommodates at least one emergency communication apparatus. According to another aspect of the present invention, provided is the method for installing the PLB cabinet of the submarine, including the steps of: (a) preparing the coaming member; (b) installing the coaming member in the pressure resistant partition wall; and (c) installing the PLB cabinet accommodating at least one PLB in a direction of penetrating the pressure resistant partition wall through the internal hollow of the coaming member. The structure of the present invention is advantageous in securing a space, and can reduce costs thereof. |
