PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lance pipe production method capable of easily severally producing lance pipes different in oxygen flow volume.SOLUTION: A lance pipe for oxygen fusion has a long metallic outer cylindrical body 2, and a long metallic core body 3 inserted inside the cylindrical body 2, and on the outer peripheral face of the core body 3, the protruded rows 3b and recessed rows 3c are alternately formed along a circumferential direction. The production method for the lance pipe includes: inserting the core body 3 inside the cylindrical body 2; then substantially evenly pressing the outer peripheral face of the cylindrical body 2 toward a central part at least one place 5 of the cylindrical body 2 in a longitudinal direction; and by controlling the pressing force at the time, controlling the cross section of a void part formed by the inner peripheral faces of the cylindrical body 2 and the outer peripheral face of core body 3 in cross-sectional view of the pressed place 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
