<p>Predetermined break points of electrographite are used in housing covers for electrostatic dust precipitators. A housing cover for electrostatic precipitators consists of a sealed cover (1) which is divided into individual fields (1a, 1b) by a multiplicity of tear lines as well as of a rain cover (3) arranged at a distance thereupon, which rain cover consists in a sub-region of an elastic cover which is only loosely held against internal pressure. The individual fields of the sealed cover are formed from sheet metal plates which are attached on at least one side in a manner so as not to be capable of being torn off and along the tear lines by connecting means with predetermined break points of electrographite on the lower structure (8). A connecting element for the aforesaid application consists preferably of a bolt plate (12a) attached to the carrying structure (8) having a bolt (12b) welded thereto, an electrographite disc (12c), a spring (14c) and a nut (14a) with washer (14b). <IMAGE></p> |
