PURPOSE:To eliminate a trouble due to forgetting of the operation of the absence transfer means, by monitoring the time till response by the time circuit simultaneously with starting of transmission of the call signal to the master telephone set and by transferring the call signal to another telephone set after a predetermined time. CONSTITUTION:When the call signal is detected by signal detecting circuit 1, call signal transmitting circuit 2 and timer circuit 9 are started, and the bell of master telephone set 7 is sounded by the call signal of circuit 2. Under this state, when the handset of telephone set 7 is hooked off, response detecting circuit 4 detects the response to stop the operation of circuit 2 and timer circuit 9. If the response of telephone set 7 is not detected, timer circuit 9 starts transfer control circuit 5 after a predetermined time and connects it to slave telephone sets 8-1-8-n set preliminarily. By this connection, circuit 2 continues to transmit the call signal until slave telephone sets 8-1-8-n respond or the calling side transmits the clearing signal, and thus, troubles due to forgetting of the operation of the absence transfer means are resolved. |
