The water distributor for an air humidifier, has a vertical tube (1) through which water is supplied from an overhead source, with three equally spaced vertical, radial ribs (7) projecting from its outside, carrying the sprinkler (6). This is formed by a ring of radial distributors (8) around the bottom of the tube. These distributors are in sets of three, each three consisting of long, medium and short channels (8A,B,C). The long and medium channels slope downwards at different angles to discharge water over two areas of different sizes. The short channels are curved discharging approximately sideways to cover a larger area. This gives a wide area of coverage.
