PURPOSE:To remove vibration in case of variable speed by changing over phase at a point of time when the signals of a positional detector are generated when the time intervals of the signals are longer than the set time intervals of constant-speed driving and after completion of set time when the time intervals of the signals are shorter than the set time intervals. CONSTITUTION:A timer using timing pulse intervals tc in a constant-speed controlling period 12 as set time is started after a point of time when starting the driving of a motor in a slow-up period 11. Phase is changed over at a point of time when pulse T1 is output when the T1 is not output before tc passes. Phase is changed over at a point of time when completion of the timer when timing pulse Tn is output before tc time, and the period 11 shifts to the constant-speed controlling period 12. The pulse time intervals of the slow-up period 11 are memorized, and utilized in a slow-down period 13 and phase is changed over. Thus, the vibration of the motor is removed even in case of the variation of load, and excellent drive characteristics can be maintained.
