<p>PURPOSE:To prevent abrasion of a piston and a cylinder body by a method wherein a rod, connected to the brake device at the one end thereof while attached to the piston at the other end thereof, is supported at the fore and aft end of the cylinder body through bushes. CONSTITUTION:The piston 3 is provided integrally with a shaft 9 equipped with a push rod 2 connected to the brake device and is supported by the bushes 12, 13 provided at the fore end 7 and the aft end 8 of the cylinder body 1. A clearance is provided between the piston 3 and the cylinder 1 and the leakage of air is prevented by attaching a packing 14 at the outer periphery of the piston 3 faced to this clearance. Upon operation, the piston 3 is moved to the right against a spring 11 by supplying compressed air through an air port 5 into an air chamber 4 and this force of the piston is transmitted to the brake device through the push rod 2. According to this constitution, the piston 3 is not contacted with the cylinder body 1 unreasonably upon being operated, therefore, the durability thereof may be improved.</p> |
