<p>A pipetting device for bottles and vessels comprises a cap with outwardly projecting suction components equipped with a gripping length and inwardly projecting suction pipe having an open end inside the bottle. This suction pipe (4) has grooves (10) at the end nearest the cap, to form a firm connection with the elastic suction component (3) outside the cap. The dia. of the suction pipe (4) at the end nearest the cap is smaller than the external dia. of the external suction component (3) but slightly larger than its clear internal dia. so that the grooves (10) press elastically into the inner wall of the suction component. The grooves may be in the form of a continuous thread, or separate rings. Alternatively, they may extend only around part of the circumference, typically grooves may be offset from one another by 180 degrees. Used for dispensing medicaments from bottles, e.g. for nose or ear treatment. Mfg. tolerances between the pipetting device and the bottle are compensated, but at the same time hard plastics materials having a glass translucency can be used without risk of damage.</p> |
