The clamping arrangement is for regulating diaphragms in direct working gas pressure or pilot regulators. The setting component is directly coupled to the measuring and controlling diaphragm. The diaphragm can be placed directly in the flow space or be separated from it by a supply pressure compensating diaphragm. A safety coutlet valve for excess pressure is pref. assigned to the control diaphragm. The clamping arrangement consists of a flat, elastic rubber disc with a central bore corresp. to the dia. of the diaphragm in use. Due to the elasticity, the dia. of the bore tends to keep the smallest possible size. The rubber disc has several slits extending from the bore to the remaining, retaining edge. The disc can be in the form of a cap for insertion into a pipe.
