According to a variety of embodiments, an image processing method and an electronic device supporting the same are disclosed. The electronic device comprises: a processor including an image processing module for performing image processing of an inputted image; and a memory. The processor obtains image data generated by performing the image processing with respect to the image. The memory can store volatile information which is information with respect to the image which is temporarily obtained during an image processing process of the image processing module. Other various embodiments are possible.
