PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a transmission capable of engaging dog teeth in a state where the rotational frequencies of respective rotational members are different, and capable suppressing occurrence of shock in engagement.SOLUTION: When changing from a shift stage set by releasing a gearing type engagement device and engaging a friction engagement device to a predetermined shift stage set by engaging the gearing type engagement device and the friction engagement device, a controller of a transmission reduces a transmission torque capacity of a second engagement device (step S3), engages a first engagement device (step S5), and then increases the transmission torque capacity of the second engagement device (step S6).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
