<p>Device for an open fireplace comprising a member 1 of folded sheet metal, which constitutes the hearth plate 2 and back-plate 3, under which plates are attached continuous fins 8 and 9 of sinusoidal shape, converging towards the central part; under the fins 8 and 9 is attached a folded metal sheet 5 constituting a casing 5a which is interrupted in front of the flanged edge 4a in order to form an opening 6, while on the flanged edges 4c at the top the openings 7 are provided so that, when the device is disposed above an outside air intake 17, the air drawn in by suction passes through the casing 5a in order to bring about a heat exchange between the air, the fins 8 and 9 and the parts 2 and 3 of the member 1 before being diffused into the room containing the fireplace by way of openings 7 extending the outlets provided on the fireplace cheeks. <IMAGE></p> |
