PURPOSE:To obtain accurate primary color signals free from color mixing in the sequence of fields by setting the period when light charge is accumulated by forming color-separated object images on an image pickup device alternately with the period when the image pickup device are scanned while the irradiation with the object images is stopped. CONSTITUTION:Object 13 is lightened by color-separating illumination light from white light source 11 through three-primary-color rotary filter 12, and light charge in the period when object 13 is lightened is accmulated in image pickup device 15 corresponding to filter parts 12R, 12G and 12B. The accumulated charge is discharged in periods of light shielding parts 12CR, 12CG and 12CB of the filter and three primary color signals are applied to preamplifier 17 under the control of control circuit 25 in the order of fields. The output of this preamplifier 17 is applied to process amplifiers 19R, 19G and 19B through the switching of switch circuit 18. The outputs of amplifiers 19R, 19G and 19B are applied to color encoder 23 under the control of circuit 25 to display the accurate primary color signals free from color mixing on the color monitor 24 in the order of fields. |
