FIELD: metallurgy.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used in machines for pressure casting with hot compression chamber. Casting unit comprises a casting plunger, which is arranged axially movably in a casting cylinder of casting vessel and shut-off valve (8) in standpipe (4) of casting vessel. Casting plunger has plunger sleeve (9), which can be brought to bear against inner wall (10) of casting cylinder (2) of casting unit and comprises shut-off valve seat and plunger (12), which comprises valve body (13). Sleeve and plunger are movable axially with respect to each other by a predetermined valve stroke. Shutoff valve (8) of standpipe of casting unit comprises valve body (20), through which molten metal can flow.EFFECT: reliable seal between press piston and casting cylinder.12 cl, 10 dwg |
