A series circuit consisting of an auxiliary switching point having a switching-on resistor is connected in parallel with a main switching point. Both switching points are coupled via in each case one lever drive (20, 21) to a common drive rod (19) which can move between a switched-on position and a switched-off position. The lever drive (21) which is allocated to the auxiliary switching point has an angled lever (32) which is supported on a fixed-position pivoting journal (33). In order to be certain, at a low technical cost, that the auxiliary switching point switches on before the main switching point during the switching-on movement but switches off again at the end of the switching-on movement, that arm (37) of the angled lever (32) which leads to the drive rod (19) is constructed as one element of a toggle lever (37, 39) which is articulated by means of its other element (39) on the drive rod (19), can be pressed over and extends at the latest on reaching the switched-on and switched-off positions. Means (42, 43) are provided in order to bend the toggle joint (38) of the toggle lever (37, 39) in the direction of the drive rod (19) in the switched-on and switched-off positions. <IMAGE>
