The colour testing system for colour printing uses four television cameras to give a synthetic picture of four printing plates on a remote monitoring screen. The four cameras are mounted on a frame so that their position can be adjusted, and so that an identical portion of each can be monitored at the same time. the cameras can be arranged in line, or to form a square according to the position of the plates on a surface below the cameras, which can be height adjusted. The cameras generate black and white signals and are used with a scanning and colour mixing system being converted into colour signals. The cameras can be fitted with zoom lenses.
